
About the Project
Amathus Drinks began in 1978. Over the years, the company has become known for getting and offering some of the best wines, spirits, and beers from all around the world. The company is proud of its collection. It shows where the drinks are from. It also shows how good each one is. Amathus Drinks works with both trade and retail customers across the UK.
Amathus teamed up with us to change the way the website looks. We wanted to give all customers a simple, easy experience. This is good for our business and teams. We fixed problems on the site to help users get a better time. We made a new platform that will grow as the business gets bigger.


The Challenge
Amathus Drinks had quite a few things stopping it from doing well online:
- Website Bugs & Inefficiencies – There were some technical problems that made it hard for people to finish checking out. This also made the user journey less smooth.
- Disconnected Systems – Data differences between Adobe Commerce and Microsoft Dynamics CRM made it hard for us to work well.
- Falling Conversions – Bad user experience and broken steps were causing the business to lose money.
- Scalability Concerns – The platform had to work well for both B2B and B2C users. It must not lose speed or quality while doing this.
- Bespoke Business Needs – Having the right custom features and automation was important to help with our work inside the company.
The project needed both some technical fixes and a full change to how users see and use it. All this had to be done in a short amount of time.

The Solution
We spent six months working with the Amathus team. In that time, we helped make big changes:
- New UX/UI Design – Built a neat mobile-first design. This lets people get the fresh shopping feel they want. It may also bring down the number of people who leave the site.
- CRM & ERP Integration Fixes – We did a full check of the code. Fixed issues with how Adobe Commerce and Microsoft Dynamics CRM work together. Now, data moves steady and works well.
- B2C Expansion – We made it so people can buy things straight from us, and not just through other companies. This let us get money in new ways.
- Bespoke API Development – We made special connectors to link the EPOS and CRM systems. Now, all the data is together in one place. Reporting is simple and quick.
- Conversion Optimisation – We worked to make sure the checkout is simple and easy for people. The team checked that the products look good on every page. We put calls-to-action in the right places. This lets us get more sales.
- Rebranding Enhancements – Updated the site’s look and feel to align with Amathus’ premium positioning.
